TipDay #4
To help healthy hair grow, avoid heat tools. Let you hair air dry and if you must use heat, put a heat protectant on before.

Proms here!!!
Dear Beautiful,
Prom isn't exactly here, but it's super close. My prom is on June 2nd and I can't wait. I have been planning my prom since I was 8. Every year I would see all the girls get all their hair done, put on pretty dresses and get in their limo's to go to prom. I can't believe mine is already here. In only 6 short weeks my prom will be here and I will be getting ready and getting in my own limo. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be putting up a blog about all the important parts of my prom outfit.
I will post about my shoes and accessories, my dates outfit, make up and nails, hair and lastly my dress. I think you guys will be very surprised by the dress I chose, I even surprised myself. I always thought it would be bright and glamorous and over the top, but it's not. So stay tuned to see what everything will look like.

Shapers Plus
Dear beautiful,
Hair spray is a hard thing to find. Some are to stiff so they don't work well when leaving your hair down. Others don't give enough hold. Well I have found the most amazing hairspray, EVER! Sebastian Shapers Plus gives great hold without being stiff at all.
I recently cut my bangs and they don't like to stay in play. This allows me to set them in place before I leave in the morning, without making them stiff and hard. My hair feels as if there is no hairspray in it. None of that makes the hairspray flake and turn white. It also tames my fly aways with no issue. I can run my fingers through them, pushing them around.
To me this is the best hairspray ever.

Straight to the Point
Hey Beautiful,
Even though my hair is just wavy and if i don't sleep on it, straight with a little flip at the end, i still straighten my hair. For some reason or another everyday, mostly because of my bangs. When I did decide to straighten my hair, with my original conair, it took forever. It may be a little wavy but it is so long, I'm not talking dragging on the floor but it hits my natural waist line and measures 18in, and the top layers are a little bit curly. Even my short bangs were taking forever to straighten, especially with the heat up time. So seeing as I do my bangs everyday and the rest of my hair, I thought I should get a good straightener and I did. For my birthday in December I treated myself to one, a nice Sedu Revolution straightener. Of course I waited til it was on sale and got a 25% discount. But I haven't regretted it since. It takes me about 2 mins to straighten my bangs and baby hairs, they have to be perfect, and 8 mins to do the rest of my hair. Even though its thin I still put it on the highest heat setting (450 degrees) for my whole head and 380 degrees for my bangs. It heats up in like seconds, with my old one I would be able to do my mascara and eyeliner but with this one I don't even have time to section off my hair.
In short I love this more than anything. If this one ever brakes, I will buy a new one. If you straighten your hair a lot and are looking for a quality straightener and don't mind spending a little bit of money, this is it.

Buns Away
Hey Beautiful,
So I know I'm late on this but I just got the Goody Spin Pins and I live them. At first I was a little iffy on if they even would work and then thought it would take some playing around with. But no, they are the easiest thing to use and hold so well. Even if you do a loose bun it still holds. There's absolutely no getting used to how they work, just which way to spin the pins. I wish I had bought them sooner. So in short there amazing and worth buying.

Hair, Long Beautiful Hair
Hey beautiful,
I'm going to tell you all about my love for long hair and how I make sure it becomes long and stays healthy (aka my hair routine). Just when ever I talk about long hair I think of the hippie musical Hair and this one song called "Hair" (very original, I know) which is all about having really long hair and not wanting to cut it. So last May I cut 7 inches off my hair which made it shoulder length and i missed my long hair so much. So in order to grow it back nice and healthy I did some research. I came across all these vitamin lists to make your hair grow faster and I really didn't want to take all these vitamins, so I kept looking. There beyond the vitamin lists I found my answer.
-The Lush "New" shampoo bar, I know shampoo bar? It sounds crazy but it is amazing. So basically what it does it stimulate your scalp with mint and cinnamon. This I didn't think was so bad for you seeing as it is all natural and being used on your body apposed to taking something. I love this thing some much that I am on my 5th bar of it and this stuff doesn't go quick. It lasts me 3 months, though I was my hair every other day because its better for your hair.
-Then since the shampoo may be a little crying at times I use the Aussie Moister conditioner afterwards and then pull my hair up letting it sit for a little bit. And rinse it out.
- When I get out of the shower I let my hair towel dry for abut 10 minutes and then put in Redken Extreme Anti- snap. Which I use as a leave-in conditioner to prevent breakage and split ends. And then I use Biosilk to smooth out my hair.
- Only after that do I brush my hair with a wide tooth comb, to prevent the kind of breakage a brush would do. From there I let it dry completely. I try to never straighten my hair or use any heat, though I do daily on my bangs.
These are all the steps I take to make sure that my hair grows long and healthy.

Bed Head
Hey beautiful,
In the morning I don't wake up an hour and half early to do my hair, so basically i got to school with bed head. But it's good bed head. I'm not that girl walking down the hallway of your school, with my hair all knotty and sticking up every which way, looking like a really badly teased mess. No hat is not me, and if that is you I'm sorry for making fun of you, it just had to be done. So how do i make my bed head acceptable. That's easy.
First you should shower before going to bed and leave your hair wet. I put product in mine, either Redken extreme anti-snap or Biosilk silk therapy, and brush it through. And then I sleep. When I wake up, my hair is kinda curly, wavy-ish so I leave it. Just straighten my bangs and go. If your roots are sticking up funny just straighten them a bit, so they lay flat. I do not brush my hair, otherwise it looks frizzy. depending if I remember or not I also use a hairspray. Right now I'm inlove with Sebastian Shapers+. It has the best flexible hold, like ever. I tend to play with my hair and run my fingers through, with this it'd never stiff or hard and doesn't become flaky. I hope you guys can now go to school with bed head too.

Pulling my Hair Back
Hey beautiful,
The other day i mentioned in my haul that i got the Scünci 'the evolution hair ties' and i have to say I hate them. So there these thins round rubber hair ties and the idea is there not to supposed to slip. And the don't slip, your hair stays the way you put it. This may sound great so far but this isn't a positive review. Imagine putting a rubber band in your hair, or if you ever have, it pulls on your hair as you try to get it out. Now no matter how well it holds my hair, the fact that it pulls my hair out as I take it out is an absolute not. So I will stick to my forever loved plain Scünci pony tail holders with out the metal.
