Hey Girlies,
     I wanted to tell you about a great fall nail polish I have currently added to my fall favorites. If you know me at all, you can guess it's Sally Hansen. I just can't help it, they make the most high quality nail polishes for the price. So this is a deep wine red, as you can see in the pictures. There is the tiniest bit of fine glitter in it, but its a deep wine red glitter. The application is smooth, with its wide brush which I love and makes putting it on so much easier. In one coat it is ready to go, there's not even a need for a second coat but it just makes it last longer. This is a staple nail polish in my fall polishes.

Hi-Definition

Hey Girlies,
     So you know that I love my Sally Hansen nail polishes. Some are a little hard to work with, but in the end out work out great. Except for the one I am going to tell you about. When the HD nail colors came out I really wanted some, they were a little expensive for me so I didn't buy them. Then I saw them at like a discount store, 3 for $5. The other two I got worked out great. So the one that didn't work out was BLU, a great royal blue. At least that's how it looks in the bottle.
     The formula is super thin and watery. When putting on the first coat, it tints your nails light blue. Then the second coat is just a pure streaky mess. In some spots it becomes a pretty royal blue. Other spots the color just comes off completely. I couldn't get a consistent color on any of my nails. Even with a third coat I couldn't get the color to be consistent.
     I am glad I didn't pay full price for it since the color is just terrible. Putting a white base wouldn't even save this nail polish. To get the color consistent is a nightmare. On the plus side the parts where it does become a bit opaque, the colors really nice.

Nails Inc

Hey Beautiful,
     If you remember while in Vegas I bought a Nails Inc Wyndham set on sale at Sephora. It was a set of one nail polish, in Kensington and a special effects top coat. Now you can no longer purchase this set, or the top coat, but heres my review.
     First of all I'm going to talk about the nail polish color, which appears to be a deep teal. However once it's on your nails it's a dark forrest green. I don't lik this polish without the top coat. I don't not like formula at all. It is dry and clumpy, which most of the time is manageable. The brush is super small which makes smoothing out the clumps hard. Most of the time this nail polish ends up streaky because the brush is just way too small.
     The top coat I really like. The iridescent flakes are such a cool effect. No matter what color you layer this over, they range from a teal to green color in light. A great alternative because this is no longer available is the Essie 'the Shine of Times'. The flakes in this polish range from an orange to lime green over most polishes.

2 for 1

Hey Beautiful,

     What's 2 for 1? Well there most certainly is not a sale or give away. Just two nail polish review in one blog post. I recently bought 8 new nail polishes, when I buy a new one I like to put it on right away. But with 8 nail polishes I couldn't do that, which is the main reason I only buy 1 nail polish at a time. So tonight I used two.

     So Yellow Mellow was super annoying to put on. Basically its a creamy, lemon yellow. It was a pain in my backside, to put on. It was clumpy and dry and gross. You know when you have a nail polish for a long time and it gets all dried out and clumpy. Well that's how this was. I thought this was going to be the easiest one to put on. But no. So I have no idea if this was just the way mine was, or if this is just how the formula of this shade is. I have other nail polishes from this line that go on great. After working with it a bit, it still didn't come out great, but the color is a pretty shade of yellow. As well as opaque.
     Digital, the hot pink, I thought was going to be very transparent, is that the right phrase??? Anyway I thought it was going to take 3 coats for it to become opaque and it didn't. I could have used just one coat and I would have been fine. But of course I used two to make sure it was even and all good. I love this color and formula. It went on smoothly with no trouble. It's a great hot pink, with a blue undertone.

Haul #5 Vegas

Dear Beautiful, 
     I can't go  anywhere without buying some make up. It's a bit of a habit. 

The nail polishes I bought at a 99¢ store. I have been wanting to get some fun colors for designs, but don't want to spend a lot of money on colors I won't wear otherwise. So I got those there. 

At Walmart I got two lip balms and a notebook. Both lip balms I have been wanting to try and couldn't seem to find it anywhere else. Palmers Coco butter swivel stick and Maybelline baby lips in peppermint. The notebook is to keep topics and ideas for blogs. I have been writing in a little spiral notebook but have a love for pretty journals. 

Lastly I got this Nails Inc. set at Sephora. It was on sale for $10 and might still be. I couldn't pick between the three sets and ended up going with the Wyndam collection. Along with nail stickers that we're on sale for $5. I have been wanting to try these but always felt they were a bit expensive, so the sale made it a perfect chance to try them.

Stripper to Go

 Dear Beautiful, 
     Now it's not as weird as it sounds, it's only nail polish remover. Debra Lippmanns Stripper to Go nail polish remover, to be exact. They come in little individual Packets to do all 10 finger. I found that skeptical, I also found the fact that they were supposed to be lavender scented skeptical too. 

      This is amazing. When you open the packet you find a little mitt. You just slide your finger in and twist until the polish comes off. Which doesn't take very long, just about 4 twists. I know it's not 100% acetone because it doesn't make your skin dry at all. There is just enough to get 7 fingers done. However if you don't  dump out the extra nail polish remover in the packet, you'll be fine. When it gets dry, just dip it into the nail polish remover left over and you'll be all good. By doing that you can now finish the rest of your nails. 
     It takes off the nail polish so easily, actually easier than a cotton ball does. and there so great for travel, taking up practically no space in its thin, little packet. My nail polish never seems to last a whole week. Ever. This makes it so much easier because I can quickly take off the old, chipped nail polish and replace it with new nail polish. I sadly just used my last one and must now go and buy my second bow of them. I hope you guys try them and love them as much as I do.

Haul #4 Nail Polish

Dear Beautiful,
     I ordered a few things from http://www.head2toebeauty.com/ about 4 days ago and it's already here. I was expecting it to take at least a week. This is the second time I have ordered from them, the first time it took the stuff to come about 10 days. Both times none of the polish broke or spilled, it came in great shape. Of course they bubble wrap everything and then put foam peanuts in the box. The best thing about this site is they sell China Glaze at a cheap price. It's $3 a bottle and I find China Glaze comparable to Essie and even OPI. They sell a few other nail polish companies. on their site.

Discos Dead

Hey Beautiful,
     I have been wanting to buy myself a Butter London nail polish for a few months now. I really wanted the Black Night, but in the Macy's near me they have been sold out for awhile. There were a few other colors I had liked and also wanted to pick up, so I got Disco Biscuit. It's a hot pink with teal glitter in it. Now I thought this would be a pretty opaque color but it's far from that. In 3 coats it's still not really opaque, it would probably work really nice over a hot pink color. But for the price I don't think its worth using it as a glitter top coat. Plus it's super grainy after a coat. It kinds feels like anything with actually glitter on it, sand paper-ish. I couldn't even get the feeling to go away with 2 coats of clear polish. So to say the least I hate it and I'm going to return it.

Almost Black

Dear Beautiful,
   I like black nail polish but sometimes it's too stark of a comparison on my very pale skin. As we get farther into winter the whiter I get, though I'm never very tan even in the summer. So usually I pick out some very dark colors, that aren't black. Such as navy blue or a very deep plum but i wanted something with no shimmer of another color. My go to color is 'Black Sand' by Sally Hansen, Hard as Nails. It's a very dark gray, almost black but a few shades lighter. Though you need three coats to get it fully opaque its so worth it in the end.

Falling into Winter

Hey Beautiful,
     Although I tend to wear dark nail polish all year round I have special ones saved for the fall, that also fit into the fall and winter time.
1.So firstly, my all time favorite that i will wear at any point during the year, Midnight Cami by Essie. Its a deep navy blue which looks amazing when it catches the light, but from far away looks black.
2. Midnight Ride by China Glaze (I promise there not all "midnight" colors). It's a deep purple, that in the light looks looks light but from far away looks black. Not all my colors looks like this and even though this and the first one look and sound the same I find a difference.
3. Red Zin by Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. Obviously its red, but not bright. Its a deep red color, though its not a wine color. Everyone needs a red and this is my fall red.
4. This is my last color, I usually use it for an accent nail. Gilty Pleasure by Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. A great gold color, thats not too yellow and is a deep gold.

Nailed It

Hey beautiful,
     So maybe like me you've had trouble finding that nail polish brand that seems to last forever. Luckily I have. A few months ago I got a Zoya nail polish in 'Jules'. At the time it was a company I had never heard of, so I went on the website and read about it. All the nail polishes are vegan friendly and a free of many harmful chemicals such as: Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) and camphor free. I find this really good because of bite my nails all the time and with regular nail polish I'm probably eating all those nasty sounding chemicals.
I had used it a few times, not very often. I had my coveted Essie nail polishes that I swore by instead. However one day I used the 'Jules' polish as an accent nail color with my Essie 'nice is nice'. Well by the third day the Essie had chipped off 7 nails almost completely but on the two nails I had the 'Jules' wasn't chipped at all. The Zoya polish wouldn't chip for another 5 days, even through me picking at it. I think that's when I realize it was love. Well maybe not love but I had realized I found a great nail polish. Zoya polishes cost $8, the same as an Essie polish. Though I'm pretty sure they can only be ordered online.
